Genesis 1 & 2: Why We Must Get This Right

Often the emphasis in interpreting these first chapters of Genesis is on the strangeness or difference between the man and the woman, particularly sexual difference.

“This interpretation is not only highly offensive, but also unbiblical and irresponsible.”

It’s a lazy misinterpretation which establishes hypersexuality of women as foundational theology and undermines the equity that is actually being established here.
